Competition
Competition experiments cover common scenarios, in which congestion control algorithms (CCAs) compete for resources against each other. These experiments include inter-protocol competition scenarios, where flows use at least two different CCAs in the same experiment. The competition experiments focus on:
Competition with static conditions against Cubic, NewReno, or Vegas. These three CCAs are either commonly used in the Internet today (Cubic) or legacy algorithms widely known in science (NewReno, Vegas).
Competition with dynamic conditions, which are caused by competing UDP flows or a changing number of competing flows over an experiment.
